Presentation
This Diploma course is the result of more than fifteen years of
commitment to choral music in Mexico. Many experts in diverse fields
of knowledge have participated for this programme: musicians, conductors,
singing professors, musicologists, sociologists and pedagogues.
We have set up the target to provide a space where every person
interested in choral music can develop themselves, so that they
can perform this activity in a serious and professional manner.
This project is a concrete way to live our mission as a civil society
day by day: to promote, transmit, and make choral music in Mexico
a professional activity.
Objectives
To develop and broaden attitudes, abilities and knowledge to those
people interested in extending the choral movement in Mexico, so
that they can train and conduct choral groups with quality.

People who are active in the choral activity at any level: musical

Benefits
Studies in various countries have demonstrated that choral music
is an enriching activity for the social and cultural development
of the countries. Thus, in countries like Finland, Sweden, Venezuela,
and Great Britain, among others, this activity is part of the whole
development of citizens.
Choral music helps to integrate communities. It
is within the choir that cohabitation is favoured, since choral
singers widen their social and teamwork abilities, which allows
them to develop as free and joyful human beings.
We are convinced that a choral singer or a choral
conductor promotes among their friends and colleagues activities
where they share music and artistic discipline in a harmonious space
beneficial for the society.
